Victorian Christmas 2010
Join us in a cup of Christmas Cheer as we celebrate Christmas in the elegant Victorian style house that was home to young Billy Bishop!
Upon arriving at the childhood home of Billy Bishop you will be met by a stunning Victorian home. It is easy to imagine carolers gathering on the front porch of the Bishop home to sing Christmas carols and hymns, while enjoying a hot mug of wassail – a mixture of sherry, ale, cider, lemons, roasted apple and spices.
Explore Billy Bishop’s childhood home, while enjoying the warmth and joy of the Christmas season. Take your time to discover the exhibits found in the museum, depicting Billy Bishop, World War I and II, as well as our new exhibit, Leave No Man Behind.
Experience the enchantment of an authentic Victorian Christmas in the childhood home of local hero, William Avery "Billy" Bishop as you enjoy a cup of hot cider and some Christmas goodies.
